The Making of An Unidentified Edible Object

At this point in time that I am writing from, the Object has already been identified.
It was decided with common consensus that it had to be a Sandwich. For the sandwich came to us again and again as a recurring tangible object.
It was our decision to appropriate it. To tell our story through it. To project our desire for the unknown on to IT, Till It WAS CAUGHT UP IN an allegory that revealed itself to us and revealed ourselves to it.
THIS IS PERHAPS THE VIOLENCE OF DIGITAL STORYTELLING

THE TEAM

Before EDIBLE OBJECTS took its form or the content, we were 30 people. With each passing day, we lost people to disinterest, confusion, and the fear of the unknown.

Today, we are left with 11 people, who decided to sit and share a sandwich.

This blog is an archive of fragments put together, at times forcefully— just like us, who hardly knew each other before this sandwich happened to us.

EDIBLE OBJECTS : AN ALPHABET OF PERFORMANCE

Our Alphabet of Performance attempts to capture the dissonances, the difference in thought, as well as our subjective engagements with the performance and the digital.

Each word in our Alphabet of Performance came from the ways in which each of us personally related to the Performance. Some had similar responses, some has eccentric, idiosyncratic responses that no one else could relate to. We have preserved it all, to capture the inability to share or stomach personal stories without being disoriented or feeling vulnerable and at times misunderstood.
